Mission Statement

“Kinh Doanh 101: Khởi Nghiệp Làm Giàu” is a project aimed at empowering, educating and connecting Vietnamese entrepreneurs to better business practices across North America.

This 10-part series is a collaboration between the E.W. Marion Kauffman Foundation and SBTN and the first of its kind. Our goal is to inform and educate new and current entrepreneurs on how to start successful businesses in the nail and restaurant industry. We hope to reach a population that is  often overlooked and aim to strengthen skills through training, capacity building, mentoring and networking to advance the economic success of these businesses and their communities.

Our goals are to

• Provide entrepreneurs with resources and guidelines within their industries to focus on business and financial capacity
• Work with local city officials and agency leaders to better guide business owners to best practices
• Provide up- to- date information that will teach entrepreneurs how to be competitive in the marketplace

We hope through this series we can break down the barriers and help Vietnamese- American entrepreneurs further on the road to success.
