SBTN is pround to announce a new series

SBTN is proud to announce a new series on entrepreneurship to further help the Vietnamese in the US, and our viewers like you, succeed in business. After a rigorous process of elimination, SBTN was chosen as one of 20 organizations out of a pool of over 800 applicants to receive the Kauffman Foundation grant to help entrepreneurs succeed. This two-year grant will serve as a guide for those who are already are entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and also for those who want become successful
business owners. Specifically, this project will work toward helping restaurant and nail salon business owners take their business to the next level.
This series is a joint effort by SBTN and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, a leading non-profit organization supporting entrepreneurship and education.

The Kauffman Foundation works with communities and partners to level the playing field for entrepreneurs who have been systemically left behind due to demographic, socioeconomic and geographic barriers. The Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations that have exceptional track records in supporting women, minority and diverse entrepreneurs.

Through a rigorous review process, the Foundation identifies and invests in nonprofits that help entrepreneurs confront and overcome their key challenges. Strategic investments in these best-in-class organizations help their programs scale to serve more entrepreneurs. In addition, the Foundation gains a better understanding of what makes these highly successful programs and initiatives so effective.

SBTN will produce a 10-part series that will be interactive, educational and informative later in the year. In June of 2019, SBTN will also host a workshop with industry leaders and panelists for entrepreneurs to come and talk to the experts. SBTN is excited for this opportunity to further serve the community.
